International Starry Night

: Coinciding with the Perseid Meteor shower on the night of August 10, events were held around the world to celebrate the first International Starry Night, a celebration of starlight. The River Bend Astronomy Club and the STEM Center at SIUE joined forces to celebrate this event at Annie’s Frozen Custard in Edwardsville to bring the wonders of the night sky to the public.
