This image of Mars was obtained on 2003 August 22. Mark was using a Philips ToUcam Pro attached to the 72-cm, f/21 Ritchey-Chretien telescope at Meyer-Womble Observatory on Mt. Evans in Colorado. The frames were stacked using Registax.
