The River Bend Astronomy Club is a band of like-minded individuals who, despite occasional clouds and wind and rain and even a twister once, return skyward again and again. We try to meet once a month to do just that. The public is welcome to attend these gatherings which provide an enjoyable opportunity to view celestial objects, see a variety of optical instruments in action, and have refreshments and fun.
Back in 2013 the Riverbend Astronomy Club quit publishing a club news letter, and now 9 years later because of a very committed member of the club it is back!!! Her tireless efforts have been an important part of the clubs success, please join me in thanking Terry Menz for all she does!!
