The River Bend Astronomy Club is hosting a telescope viewing at the North Town shopping center in Highland, IL on Monday, February 23, 2026 as part of the First Quarter Moon Day series. We’ll be near the stoplights into the Glik’s parking lot along Rt. 143 from 7-9pm. Dress warmly as temperatures will be in the mid-20s. Viewable objects include the first-quarter Moon, Jupiter, Saturn, Mercury, the Orion Nebula, and potentially more. Wear a coat, hat, and warm shoes and we hope to see you there!
